Mira Murati leaves OpenAI

OpenAI’s chief technology officer Mira Murati said on 25 September 2024 that she was leaving after six and a half years, wanting “the time and space to do my own exploration.” Chief research officer Bob McGrew and research vice president Barret Zoph left the same week.
